Who are we?

 

 

The Canadian Council of University Chemistry Chairs (CCUCC) is a Canadian not-for-profit corporation  that brings together the chairs and heads of chemistry departments from more than 40 universities across Canada, representing over 750 faculties and more than 10,000 students. Its primary aim is to promote and enhance the quality of chemistry education and research in the country. The CCUCC facilitates collaboration and communication among Canadian chemistry departments, addressing common issues, sharing best practices, and advocating for the interests of the academic chemistry community.

 

Overall, the CCUCC plays a significant role in strengthening the chemistry academic community in Canada by fostering cooperation and advocating for the resources and recognition necessary to advance chemistry education and research.
